In March 2027, students will meet writers and inspiring professionals, take part in interactive workshops and explore ideas through writing, discussion and creative activity.
Why a day like this matters
Meeting the person behind a book makes room for questions that a page cannot answer. Trying a new form of writing gives students a chance to experiment. Discussing a difficult question lets them practise explaining their views, listening to others and reconsidering an idea.
Students do not need to be aspiring authors to benefit. The day offers opportunities to discover an interest, consider another perspective and build confidence in expressing themselves.
Free to schools. Supported by our community.
We are raising $5,000 to help pay writers and facilitators for their expertise, provide a venue and cover the practical costs of delivering the day.
Your donation helps keep The Curiosity Project free to participating schools and students.
