A curated look at some of the featured authors and their books at the Manly Writers' Festival.

Discover your next favourite read as writers launch their newest books, including Blanche d'Alpuget, Jane Caro, Carol Lefevre, Brendan Morris and Stephan Wellink, Dr Sarah Arachchi, and Professor John Maynard. These fiction and non-fiction books hit the book stands later this month or next, and the Manly Writers' Festival is the first to hear from their authors.

We have conversations with performers Katherine Wiles and Josh Piterman, and we talk to people who have written memoirs about their journeys with death and grief, mental health, cultural diversity, transition, conflict, dispossession, and the workplace.

New political orders, the future of democracy, when the bloody hell are we going to get any submarines, the loss of trust, and the impact of those who hold so much power in their hands through control of social media and AI. All are discussed.
