Mark Corcoran
Mark Corcoran was an international reporter and producer with ABC-TV Australia’s news-documentary program Foreign Correspondent for 23 years. For a decade after the 9/11 attacks, he reported on the political and social upheavals of Washington's declared 'Global War on Terror’ from Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Middle East, Europe, and the US. His Foreign Correspondent reports were widely rebroadcast on international networks, including the BBC, CNN, and Al Jazeera. Mark was also Foreign Correspondent's presenter from 2008-11 and Executive Producer for two years. Earlier in his career, Mark specialised in international affairs and defence issues with SBS-TV’s Tonight and Dateline programs, then ABC-TV’s Four Corners and Lateline.
