Frontline Perspectives: Reporting the World Beyonder Borders

DATE:

Saturday 29th March

LOCATION:

Darley Smith Building

COST:

$22

Join some of Australia’s most distinguished foreign correspondents— Michael Brissenden, Steve Cannane, Mark Corcoran, Andrew Fowler, Isabella Higgins and Helen Vatsikopoulos—for an illuminating discussion on the challenges, triumphs, and ethical dilemmas of reporting from the world’s most dynamic and turbulent regions. Drawing on their extensive experience, they’ll share behind- the-scenes stories, explore journalism’s evolution in an era of disinformation, and discuss the critical role of foreign reporting in connecting audiences with global events. This session offers a rare opportunity to gain insights into the risks and rewards of working on the frontlines of history.

Host: Bonita Mersiades
