2025 PROGRAM
Festival Conversation and Book Launch: 'Betrayal'
DATE:
Friday 20 March, 2026
LOCATION:
Sky Theatre
COST:
$49.00
What happens when loyalty to institutions collides with personal conscience? In this Festival conversation, J.S. Ayliffe reflects on a life shaped by law, ethics and difficult choices. Drawing on his newly released book, Betrayal, he explores the costs of speaking up,
the price of silence, and the moral grey zones inside influential organisations. This is a considered, contained book launch event — a conversation about integrity, courage and consequence. Content note: This session includes discussion related to child abuse.
