Amelia Lester is deputy editor at Foreign Policy magazine. Previously she was editor-in-chief of Good Weekend, the Saturday magazine of the Sydney Morning Herald and Age newspapers, as well as executive online editor and managing editor at the New Yorker magazine. During time spent as a reporter in Japan Amelia published in The Economist, The New York Times, American Vogue, and The New York Review of Books.
